We have no
evidence of immortality. We
define it as the opposite of life.
What are the long time consequences (really, long time consequences) of our actions and choices? I wax philosophical. If there were any very long time consequences of any parts of our lives, we might consider immortality. Yet searching all recorded history tells me that there is no immortality. Life is limited. I am limited. I am alive. Immortality (the absence of mortality) is the opposite of life. Life, living, is not easy. I try to imagine the consequences of my choices and my mind loses sight within a fog.
