Art reception at the Café Centrosette.   Living in a bookstore.   3-11-96

            I’ve misspelled Centosette.   The Café Centosette is located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.   My bound journal gives me no hint of whose work I saw.   It might have been a group show including some of Charlene’s work.   I do remember some of the conversation as Marianne and I went home.   I thought it a good idea to have an art gallery adjacent to a café and bookstore.   Marianne wanted to include a small theatre and dancehall.   Maybe this was the beginning of the Black Feather Retreat, an Artists’ and Writers’ Colony.
