(A card dated with a hand-cancelled postmark
“APR 14 ‘95”)
This card is the last card in this VARIATIONS piece.
It is placed in the position of a card for April 14th, 1996.
This card is one of many just like it that comprise another piece
entitled “For Two Cents Plain” (This title is derived from the use of Two
Cent postage stamps on each of the cards.)
Each step, each chance, each project, each love, leads to another.
I guess I would like that love to cycle back upon itself and lead me in a
perpetual cycle of loves. I
will continue along the path I’ve created.
We awaken into a life already in progress, without plot or purpose, and
we must write our own script, with only vague memories of how it all began.
Unexpectantly, always too soon, the curtain falls and the audience is
left to decide whether or not they were ever part of the play.
