“Faire Vrai Laisser Dire” – Edouard Manet 1876

  April 15 – May 1, 10 AM – 5 PM

“Make it true, and let them talk.”

Manet, aside from being a revolutionary painter, was a character.   He seems to have enjoyed flaunting his disregard for the social norms.   He was a proponent of truth over society.   I will do whatever I can to follow his example.   I will meet the gaze of critics head-on and smile.   My smile will convey, “This is who I am and this is my choice.   You may do with it as you wish.”
