Violets and roses ---
Barbara in the hammock
Garden Walk.

This almost haiku is my impression of Barbara’s back yard.   There is a profound sadness wrapped within my joy.   Steve has advised me to run and not look back.   He thinks Barbara is too controlling for my gentle nature.  I’ve thanked him for his candor and concern and then rejected it.   In the long run I could have saved Barbara a lot of heartache by leaving before we proceeded down this garden’s path.   Tucked within her small back yard was an amazing variety of flowering plants.   While I worked on building a very small frog pond, she read half-naked in the hammock.
