Is reality the orgasmic pause within the mundane or the ordinary that surrounds one’s thoughts and feelings?   Perhaps it is just the moment.

Those moments that I vividly remember seem to be the exceptions to ordinary daily living.   The visions, the smells, the sounds, the tastes, and the feel of such moments are etched in my thoughts.   However, I must admit that most of life, my life and I assume others as well, is composed of ordinary activities; the activities of daily living.   These define who I am.   I wake, I wash, I eat, I work, I think, I write, I love (agape love), I continue throughout each day doing what I do.   I think these mundane activities define who we are.   Those highlights, those chance meetings in the park, love (erotic love), that morsel of dessert, the poetic phrase, define who we desire to be.   How is it possible to be who we are and to desire to be something else at the same time?
