This invention (maybe more than an invention it should be called a sculpture) came to me as I was recalling a similar sculpture on display at the Port Authority 42^nd Street Terminal.   The cage on display in Manhattan uses billiard balls and plays eccentric tones as they roll back down to the base.   I wondered if a slinky could be used to descend along a spiral ramp and then be shuttled up to the top of the ramp to begin its downward journey, over and over, again.

The spiral shape of the tower and a slinky echo the shape of the razor wire mentioned on the card for March 7^th, 1996.
