Must write an article for the DOUBLE HELIX7:
“Building a Retrovirus Vector”
[I’m] somewhat distracted today by a deadline for a journal article.
We (Steve and I) print and bind our publication tonight.
Although I usually have my contributions ready by this point; I have not
even begun to make some notes for this last article. It is obvious to me that I am using work, the hectic
bustle of too many jobs, too many tasks, to distract me from myself.
This is really a question of love; Why do we love?
Who do we love? What
are the limits of such love? Why
follow social norms? Why not
accept whom we are and how we choose to live?
I’m about to turn the world of my family on its head.
Instead of preparing for that, I’m busy writing articles and going to
work.
____
7.
I notice a distinct spiral echo in the helix, the slinky of 3-21-96, and
the razor wire in Newark on March 7th, 1996.
